Our Rental Policy

Welcome to Storm Rentals! Before you rent a scooter, please take a moment to review our rental policy. 

1. Eligibility:

• Renters must be 18 years or older.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

2. Booking:

• You can book directly on our website or by contacting us on WhatsApp.
• Include Dates, Location and rental period.

3. Deposit and Insurance:

• No deposit is required. A payment of Rs 8,000 as insurance excess in the event of the following:
  • The Scooter has received damage, whether accidental or otherwise.
  • Any damage where the insurance company may require an excess.
  • Return the Scooter to the owner in good and running condition as it was when it was given to you.
  • In the event of the Scooter being stolen, you will be required to pay a fee of 75% of the value of the Scooter.
• If you fail to return the Scooter in the same condition as it was given, the client is required to pay for any damages.

4. Scooter Condition:

• Inspect for damages before use, this is for your own safety.
• Report any damages to the Scooter via our WhatsApp.

5. Safety Gear:

• Helmets provided; must be worn at all times.
• Reflective Vests provided; mandatory to wear at night.

6. Maintenance:

• Report of any issues.
• Replacement provided for breakdowns. In the event of no replacement available, a refund will be provided.
• For long term rentals, it is the clients duty to keep a check on the oil levels. If oil gets low, the client may bring it back to the station for a refill.

7. Cancellation:

• Free cancellation 48 hours before planned rental.
  • There will be no refund for any deposits made beforehand.
• In the event of an early termination of a rental period, we will refund 50% of the remaining days.
